B. CONCRETE REPAIR

SuperBond CE-HR

A high-range epoxy based mortar intended for crack repairs, sealing of crevices, rebars & dowels (onto concrete), grouting of base plates and floor primers.

U-ChemShield RM

A polymer-modified repair mortar in powder form at 25-kg bag.

It sets faster than normal cement mortar and gives higher compressive strength and longer durability.

Best for use on spalled concrete, honeycombs, restoration of worn-out surfaces and filling of voids.

U-ChemPlast GF-MR

A powder type admixture as a grout fluidifier designed to impart high fluidity to ordinary sand to cement grout mixtures while at the same time compensates mild shrinkage normally associated with site batched grouts.

1.) FLOOR HARDENERS

POWDER TYPE

Sonosil

– A curing aid, hardening and dustproofing compound for concrete.

– Ideal for freshly placed & finished concrete for floors, walls, decks, docks and ramps.

– A sodium-silicate based compound and compatible with most resilient floor-covering adhesives and coatings.

2.) DEGADUR SYSTEM

A New Technology PolyMethylMethacrylate (PMMA) Resin Based Floor System.

Composed of a Primer, Base Coat, Top Coat, Selective High Grade Quartz Silica and High Quality Pigments.

Available in 3 systems: The Strong One, The Slip Resistant One and The Smooth One.

It is solvent free, cold curing and cure by means of polymerization.

Cures fast within 1-2 hours from application, thus, the system is made available for immediate loading (mechanically and chemically).

Cures in cold temperature (up to -30 o C).

Has very high elastic property.

Strong resistance against acids and caustics.

High resistance from light to heavy traffic.

D. WATERPROOFING SYSTEMS

SuperProof PM

A flexible type based on synthetic resins and polymer-modified cementitious materials.

A two-part, pre-packed system of liquid and powder forms.

An effective waterproofing system on a variety of substrates.

Suitable in contact with potable and sea water.

SuperFlex EP

A fluid-applied Elastomeric waterproofing system.

It is resistant to fungi, mildew, oil and most chemicals.

SPECIALTY CHEMICALS

1. SuperCure HR

• A wax based concrete curing compound.

• Best to use as a protection to fresh concrete after placement to prevent over rapid water evaporation, hence results to cracks.

• Conforms to ASTM C309-80 Type I

2. U-ChemOil HR

• An oil based form release agent for all types of concrete formwork.

• Its chemical reaction with the cement paste forms a “bond-breaking” film which enables the formwork to be easily stripped.

3. SuperBond LE

• A polymer-based liquid emulsion bonding agent for concrete and mortars.

• Best recommended in concrete repair for spalled concrete, honeycombs, worn steps and surfaces, beams and precast elements.

• Water resistant and excellent adhesion to any substrate.

4. SuperTile

• A ready to use polymer modified cementitious mortar used to install or bond ceramic tiles, marble granite and natural stones to floors and walls by thin bed method.

• Best recommended for interior and exterior installations of ceramic, mosaic and natural stone tiles on substrates such as:

Reinforced concrete floor slabs & walls, CHB walls, Polymer modified self-leveling mortars, Cement fiber boards, all types of tiles

INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS

REFRACTORY MATERIALS:

Castables are classified into Conventional and Low and Ultra Low Cement. These castables ranges from a low to a maximum service temperature of 1800 o C varying from low to high alumina content. It has excellent resistance to abrasion and acid slag. It is best for use on sidewalls & roofs of heating furnaces and boilers. It is also an alternate casting to fireclay bricks. It is easy to use, just add water and mix.
Mouldable Plastics are high alumina plastic refractory with excellent resistance to abrasion and thermal spalling. It is best for use in severe slag attack. It is used for general repairs of furnaces, incinerators, hoods of cement, lime & ceramic kilns, etc. It is easily rammed to any shape or contour.

Fireclay Bricks are highly resistant to abrasion and thermal spalling. They are installed at combustion chambers of boilers or incinerators. Standard shapes (ST-64) are readily available while tailor-made dimensions would need specific lead times.

High Alumina Bricks have high mechanical strengths and good volume stability at high temperature. It is best recommended on ladle applications, lower sidewalls & bottom of alumina refining and melting furnaces.

Basic Bricks have high magnesium content (MgO-Spinel Brick Base) based on high purity synthetic magnesite and spinel. It gives an outstanding Thermal Shock Resistance, excellent Abrasion & Chemical Resistance, High Resistance against Redox Atmosphere and it is Environment Friendly. It is normally used in Cement rotary kilns.

Bonding Mortars are available in wet and dry types. It is used for bonding fireclay, high alumina, and insulating bricks. It is a high alumina mortar with excellent workability and adherence. It protects joint from slag, fumes, molten metal, and abrasion.

WATER and WASTE-WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS:

A. Boilers or Heat Exchangers:

• Corrosion Inhibitors allows dissolved oxygen (DO) to be completely and rapidly reduced at a lower temperature. It is especially designed for water treatment in heat exchange installations.

Scale Deposit Treatments ensure dispersion and encapsulation of particles in suspension and sequestration of alkaline-earth salts.

Liquid Oxygen Scavenger is very effective even at low temperatures.

B. Cooling Towers:

Dispersant and Scale Inhibitor is best recommended for systems using muddy water or with high concentration of dissolved salts.

Biocides are available in different types. These reagents are most effective with respect to algae, bacteria and fungi by the action of sterilization and destruction of microorganisms, algae and bacteria developing on walls. There is also that based on a quaternary ammonium compound but can be used in association with anionic dispersants, without risk of precipitation or loss of effectiveness. It is biodegradable and at recommended doses, does not require any treatment of wastes prior to disposal into rivers.

  1. We have plastic roof in reheating furnace .
    The plastic refractory supplied by ACE Nagpur.

    The roof if working since 2003 .now some cracks were observed in the roof ,The indide temp is 1300 deg C AND furnace is oil/gas fired .

    The furnace capaity is 120 mt/Hr .

    For repairing the cracks we required some material.
